The highlight of our calender is back! Are you ready to test yourself in 5 gruelling events against a field of strong athletes to see who emerges victorious and gets crowned Hull's Strongest!?! The competition will continue as usual with Novice Men and Women on the Saturday, and U105, Open Men, Inters and Open Women on the Sunday.
As always full event details and videos will be released in the upcoming weeks to give you a taste of what to expect.
We have a few logistical issues to confirm before i can fully annouce the Overhead event and some weights so please bear with us but these will be up asap and i promise you they will be worth the wait.

Reserve lists will run for each category as required.
Registration at 9AM both days with athlete brief at 9.30AM and first event start at 10:00AM. U105 can weigh in from 8AM Saturday .
No previous podium places in a prior Hulls Novice competition to enter Novice category.
The events will run as:- (all weights and events subject to change)
Event 1 - Circus Dumbbell - Max reps in 75secs. Trump weight, any reps on higher reps beats lower weight reps. Sleeves, wrist wraps and grip shirts allowed.

U105 Men - 48kg / 53kg
Open Men - 64kg / 78kg

Event 2 - Deadlift Ladder - Each lift to be taken in turn, final implement to be lifted for reps until time runs down. SUITS ALLOWED. Normal and Fig 8 straps allowed. 90secs max tim

Event 3 - Hay Bale Hoist - 75sec time limit.
Seated arm over arm rope pull to vertically raise a weight up into the air. Weight will be freely suspended to athletes must be in control of the weight at all times (i.e. no resting on safety systems) if rope is released event is over and height recorded. Gloves allowed.

Event 4 - Natural Stone walk for max distance in 75secs. Athletes to cover a 15m course and then TURN HOLDING THE STONES before returning back. Max distance recorded multiple drops allowed however stones must be held during the turn.
NO STRAPS OR LIQUID CHALK.

Event 5 - Atlas Stone load.
We are rewinding the clock and going old school. 5 Stones of ascending weight set back from 5 barrels gradually getting closer to the barrels to be loaded. No tacky or grip sleeves, chalk only. Barrel height of 1m.
