We're back, last year we had a fantastic time at our new location and look forward to welcoming you again for Hulls Strongest Man and Woman 2024. This years is competition will again be taking place in our new location just outside Hull centre on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate.
The competition will continue as usual with Novice Men and Women on the Saturday, and U105, Open Men, Inters and Open Women on the Sunday.
As always full event details and videos will be released in the upcoming weeks to give you a taste of what to expect.
We have a few logistical issues to confirm before i can fully annouce the Overhead and Deadlift event so please bear with us but these will be up asap and i promise you they will be worth the wait.

Reserve lists will run for each category as required.
Registration at 9AM both days with athlete brief at 9.30AM and first event start at 10:00AM. U105 can weigh in from 8AM Saturday .
No previous podium places in a prior Novice competition to enter Novice category.
The events will run as:- (all weights and events subject to change)
Event 1 - Wrecking Ball Press. (Video will be available beginning of March). Two custom made Spartan Atlas Stones suspended by chain from a barbell/axle pressed overhead for max reps from the chest in 75sec. Approximate weight (variation in final stone weight)
Novice Women - 40kg (BB)
Novice Men - 70kg (BB)
U105 Men - 96kg (Axle)
Open Men - 120kg (Axle)
Inters Women - 48kg (BB)
Open Women - 60kg (Axle)
Event 2 - Farmers into Yoke. 15m out - 15m back.
Chalk and grip shirts allowed. Knee sleeves and wrist wraps.
Novice Women - 55kg/110kg
Novice Men - 100kg/200kg
U105 Men - 120kg/260kg
Open Men - 140kg/320kg
Inters Women - 70kg/140kg
Open Women - 85kg/190kg
Event 3 - Barrel Loaded Skip Deadlift. - 75sec time limit.
6 barrels loaded in one after each other. Barrels add approx 6kg each pull. Once final barrel is loaded athletes can continue pulling until time expires. 18" pull for novice women, 9" pull for rest of the athletes. Below is listed the starting weights "in the hand", please bear in mind however due to the nature of the pull it will not feel the same as equivalent weight standard deadlift.

Event 4 - Sandbag to Shoulder. Maximum reps in 60secs. No grip shirts.

Event 5 - Atlas Stone load.
We are rewinding the clock and going old school. 5 Stones of ascending weight set back from 5 barrels gradually getting closer to the barrels to be loaded. No tacky or grip sleeves, chalk only. Barrel height of 1m.
