Hull & East Yorkshire Manufacturers Network - Lunch, Learn and Networking

Join the HEY Manufacturers network for a free and informal lunch, learn and networking session just before Christmas at the Aura Innovation Centre.

Learn about the upcoming events and activities of the manufacturers network in 2025, as well as the current business support and funding available for manufacturers from the two HEY local authorities.

Hear and learn from Network member business, who will give a presentation on their business, providing an insight into operations, the sharing of best practice advice, and a look at some of the challenges faced by the business over the past year and how these challenges have been overcome.

Finally, network with other manufacturing businesses over a Christmas buffet lunch from 1pm.

This event will be informal and we would encourage all current network members to join us, as well as those manufacturing firms who are yet to get involved with the network.

• 12.15pm - A look ahead to Network events and activity in 2025 - Jon Brunton, Growth Hub Manager, HEY LEP

• 12.20pm - An update on the new business support and funding available from Hull and East Yorkshire Councils - Kevin Cassidy, Business Advisor, Hull City Council and Darren Roberts, Project Manager, East Riding of Yorkshire Council

• 12.30pm - A look at a Network member's business, followed by Q&A discussion - TBC

• 1pm - Buffet lunch and networking

• 2pm - event close

The event is free to attend for representatives of manufacturing and engineering firms from across Hull & East Yorkshire, however booking is required to manage numbers. Please note that that to foster a spirit of openness and mutual support at meetings of the network, this event is for representatives of manufacturing and engineering businesses only, and representatives of professional services (banks, investment funds, accountants, law firms), consultancy firms and intermediaries will not be admitted. Bookings made by such organisations will be cancelled.
