HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I - Kumu Hula Michael Pili Pang presents HULIAU - A hula concert celebrating Hālau Hula Ka Noeʻau’s 40th anniversary. Kumu Pili Pang has been maintaining the art of hula as they have been passed down by his teacher Maiki Aiu Lake since 1986. He established HULIAU in 1996, to celebrate his first ten years and it became part of the inaugural season of the Hawaii Theater and continued as an annual concert at the Hawai’i Theatre for 20 consecutive years till 2016. Now after a 10-year break, Kumu Pili Pang and Hālau Hula Ka Noʻeau returns to the Hawai’i Theatre with HULIAU ... 40 years of Dance, Chant and Traditions.
