Hul er tilbage i Byhaven d. 8. juli 2026, når vi præsenterer Psychobillyjazz 3 og Swimming Pool til en masterclass af jazz-rock/improvisation i anledning af Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
Der er fri entré, Byhaven åbner kl. 15:00 og koncerterne starter henholdvis kl. 17:00 og 19:00.
Psychobillyjazz 3:
Psychobillyjazz 3 is both the name and musical style of the newest group led by saxophonist, author and Danish punk icon Thorsten Sehested Høeg (Also known under the alias Dane TS Hawk or simply TS Høeg).
The trio is volatile and loud, in a way not seen since his work on the Copenhagen punk scene in the 1980’s. It sees him recruiting drummer Johannes Østlund Jacobsen and guitarist Halfdan Magnus Stefansson - newcomers on the Copenhagen scene and an almost telephatic rock rhythm section, both working with a long line of bands, among them being Kindsight and Bending Backwards.
They are relevant with their selftitled debutalbum, released march 2026 as a part of Movement Shaped Like a Heart.
Swimming Pool:
Swimming Pool is a Copenhagen-based drum & guitar duo that works in the space between strict repetition and free improvisation.
The music is dark and uses extreme dynamics, from subtle textural sounds to noisy walls of heavy feedback.
As improvisers, they blend ambient soundscapes with heavy riffs and odd rhythms, experimenting with drum triggers, synths, and alternative guitar techniques.
Swimming Pool is Rémy Gouffault (drums, electronics) and Simon Hiemstra (guitar) Their debut album ‘God Bless The Pool’ was released in 2024 on Copenhagen record label Østers Perle. Their second album will be released in late 2026.
