Enjoy a ranger-guided boat ride to Huggins Island and learn about some of its unique history that has shaped the island how we see it today. We will talk about its historical uses including Native American, colonial, and during the Civil War, and include some of the wildlife that can be seen out there. Subject to cancellation due to weather.Space is limited; REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by contacting the park office: (910) 326-4881.
NOTE: The boat stops at the island. There is no dock, but optional island access is done from the bow of the boat.
