HSU Foundation Game Changers - Vertex Solutions

Join HSU Educational Foundation FieldWerx on Saturday, February 5th, for an exciting HSU Game Changers STEM Saturday family event, which will feature Vertex Solutions, with operations in Niceville.

Vertex Solutions is a leading training and education technology provider that enables users to learn faster, retain skills, and perform better in their jobs. Leading the Air Force Pilot Training Transformation program, Vertex Solutions blends Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) with use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) trainers, mobile documents w/ 3D apps, simulations w/ live instruction, and learning strategies w/ live exercises to empower military and civilian organizations.

Families will be exposed to the skills related to the development of Extended Reality training tools and have the opportunity to try out a variety of the simulators Vertex Solutions has developed for the US Air Force, Army, and Navy.

The Game Changers program provides interactive, shared science and technology events for families, inspiring excitement while encouraging critical thinking and problem solving. The Game Changers program is sponsored in part by Gulf Power and usually meets the first Saturday of each month during the school year. Exploring business expertise and STEM technologies together sparks conversations among family members and can help participants apply educational principles to the real world.

This hands-on STEM event is suitable for the whole family, adults must accompany youth participants. Pre-registration is required
