HS2 and SCSJV Information Event: Old Oak Common Tunnel

High Speed Two (HS2) is the new high-speed railway for Britain. SCSJV are building the HS2 London Tunnels for the new railway, in partnership with HS2.

Our colleagues from SCSJV will be holding a event at Victoria Road Crossover Box on Monday 25 November 2024 from 4pm to 7pm.

This event is an opportunity for the community to watch a short presentation on the Old Oak Common Tunnel and ask questions about our works.

The Old Oak Common Tunnel is between Victoria Road Crossover Box (SCSJV works) and Old Oak Common Station Box (BBVS works) as part of our works to build the HS2 Northolt Tunnels East between Old Oak Common and Greenford.

Event Timeline*

Throughout the event SCSJV and HS2 staff members will be available to for questions, and will have a number of information boards to people to view. There will also be 2 presentations and 2 oppportunties to visit the viewing deck.

Drop In - 4.00pm to 4.30pm

Presentation - 4.30pm to 5pm

Viewing Deck Visit - 5.00pm to 5.30pm

Drop In - 5:30pm to 6.00pm

Presentation 6.00pm to 6.30pm

Viewing Deck Visit - 6.30pm to 7.00pm

Please note there will be a limit of 10 people per visit to the viewing deck

Registration for this event will close 48 hours prior.

To ensure you get the most out of your visit and to ensure everyone’s safety and security, could all visitors please make themselves familiar with the following requirements:

• All attendees under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over

• Suitable photographic identification i.e. Passport or Driving Licence that match the name on the visitors list will need to be provided at the site gate. Anyone not pre-registered or without suitable identification may be declined access.

• All visitors may be subject to a bag search at the discretion of the Security Manager

• No unauthorised photographs or filming of the site will be permitted

• Unfortunately the viewing deck is not wheelchair accessible
