HRTeaze: A Film Festival Fundraising Extravaganza
About this Event
Hello sweet angels,
It would be an honour and a privilege if you would join us for the Dublin premiere of HRTeaze and an evening of queer cabaret (cabergay?).
The night will feature some of Dublin's premier queer and trans performers, with the screening of HRTeaze woven into the heart—and bountiful bosom—of the show.
HRTeaze is a short film I wrote and starred in, inspired by my experience accessing hormone replacement therapy. Ireland has one of the worst gender-affirming healthcare systems in the EU, and I wanted to create something that raises awareness of the barriers that trans people face in accessing lifesaving healthcare.
All proceeds from the evening will support HRTeaze's festival journey. Film festival submissions can be expensive, and your support will help us share the film with audiences far beyond Dublin, giving it the opportunity to continue its life long after its premiere.
Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show beginning promptly at 6:30pm. The evening is expected to run for around 2 hours and 15 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission between the first and second halves. The screening of HRTeaze will take place at the end of the first half of the show.
