HR Crash Course for Small businesses

Join Gray Space Collaborative and Cooper People Group for a 3-hour HR crash course for small businesses. This event will walk you through world-class practices for small businesses on a budget ranging from culture to compliance. While not every business can have a dedicated person to HR we know that small businesses and business leaders care deeply about the people they hire, the culture they create, and the community they support. This session is specifically designed with propose-driven and budget-conscious leaders in mind. By joining us for three hours you can expect to:

• Identify and understand classic HR pitfalls and how to avoid them.
• Learn about levers you can pull to support your employees struggling with mental health and more.
• Understand how culture can be a valuable tool to support your employees and your business.
• Get your burning questions answered by experienced HR professionals.

This three-hour session will be held at the Grand Rapids Chamber on Wednesday November 20th from 8:30-11:30. The cost is $150 per participant.
