Howl-O-Ween: A Hallowe'en Pet Party outside on Courthouse Library Plaza

Join us on the Plaza for a fun and relaxed Halloween celebration for pets and their people! Bring your pet in costume, take a festive photo, enjoy a few treats, and show off your Halloween spirit. We’ll have pet-themed books, simple activities, and silly costume fun for everyone to enjoy.

To ensure safety and fun, please ensure the following:

• Your pet is in a safe and comfortable costume.
• Dogs are leashed.
• Updated vaccinations for participating pets.
• Respectful and positive behavior from pets and pet parents.
• Owners clean up after pets.

We love our furry friends, but please note that only service animals are permitted inside the library branch; emotional support animals (ESAs) are not permitted inside the building!

In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled. Call the library on the morning of the event for updates: 703-228-3352.

Transportation: Parking in the garage located beneath the Bozman Government Center is free on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Watch this quick guide on how to park in the attached garage on Clarendon Blvd. We are also accessible via public transit: by Metro (Orange and Silver Lines - Courthouse) and by bus.
