How to write your Own Rom com leading lady!
Each week we'll pay homage to the great leading ladies of romcom movie history! In this character writing workshop you'll develop your main character’s voice while discovering your own! Whether you're writing a script, a novel, or just have an idea. You’ll learn everything about who your leading lady is (or leading man or non-binary). Surprise! They're a version of you. This is a writing workshop where you’ll analyze the great rom-com leads and their archetypes, do in class character-building prompts, take home writing exercises to develop your own leading lady, workshop your writing, watch movies, read scripts featuring the rom-com greats, and study the writing of Nora Ephron, Nancy Meyers, and James L. Brooks.
