In just 3 years, this empty nest couple went from working W2 jobs they liked, knowing NOTHING about real estate investing, to being financially independent of those jobs and free to travel and hang out.Scott and Shannon are a local success story in today's market. They are real people who first attended the Appleton REIA in April of 2021. They were actively seeking all the information they could get their minds around, networking their butts off, and burning the candle at both ends running to every event they could while Scott still had to get up super early to go to work. Shannon had just quit her job with a Non Profit Organization to jump in both feet and start learning and looking.
This Journey hasn't been easy, but you'll find they'll tell you that it's been worth it! Scott left his job in the summer of 2023, and these guys have been getting more and more efficient ever since! Of course the free time hasn't hurt their love of travel and spending time with family and friends either. Shannon has developed a goal and business planning system that they've used each year to push everything forward and create accountability as well.
You'll want to come and hear the track they took, the things they did, and tools they used to get where they got in a few short years! Today they own a large local rental portfolio, some mid-term rentals, and a short-term rental property in sunny Florida.
