How to stop a tax increase with Dr. Jon Ward. Jon Ward, MD is the founder of Bay County Taxpayers, LLC. He rallied taxpayers against a tax increase of 1 mill the school district was trying to impose in April 2021. The referendum was soundly defeated by a margin of 75-25 and the work of Bay County taxpayers was instrumental in defeating it.
Dr Ward is a board certified dermatologist holding medical license in Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. He is a healthcare entrepreneur who is on the Board of Directors of Dermatology Solutions Group. Dr Ward has been featured on Bloomberg TV show "The American Dream." He attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and medical schools. He was born in Dothan, Alabama and grew up in Defuniak Springs, Florida.
