About this Event

The Documentary Film and Television industry is booming! With the rise of online video streaming came a surprising consumer appetite for non-fiction entertainment, thus making documentary films and series some of the most in-demand content today.

Julia Ivanova is an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose films have been featured in renowned festivals like Sundance, VIFF, Hot Docs and more.

Julia will give you an intro on how to get started as a documentary filmmaker. The seminar will include a lecture, some hands-on filmmaking demonstrations and more.

Seats are limited. COVID-19 protocols will be in effect as ordered by the BC Provincial Health Office. Vaccination passports are mandatory and will be checked at the door.
