About Your Host:
The seminar will be led by Ashley R. Wheat, MBA. Ashley has been the Executive Director of the Alabama Blues Project since 2019. This nonprofit has served thousands of children in Alabama with the mission of keeping the legacy of blues music alive. She also founded Rose's Leadership Academy in 2024. This nonprofit is a mentoring initiative for middle school girls which teaches entrepreneurship skills through engagement with creative arts. Ashley has previously served as Chair of the Nonprofit Council for the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, and she is a graduate of Shelton State Community College's Nonprofit Leadership Academy and Leadership Tuscaloosa. She currently sits on boards and advisory councils for multiple organizations, as well as volunteering as an Ambassador for the Chamber.
