Experience Australian culture with Birney and Garry, two locals who have lived for over 25 years in the most popular city Down Under. In other words, they're true blue.

Expect to learn more about Aussie life during these 4 hours than you will during a month at uni. Why's that, you may ask? We combine learning with fun social activities. Not only will you learn new Aussie phrases, but you'll have practised them with like-minded people.

We like to call our experience "English beyond the classroom".

What you will do

• Enjoy a traditional Australian sausage sizzle barbecue. Drinks will be provided.
• Have a coffee and pastry at the most popular cafe in Pyrmont
• Sip a drink while hanging out at Australia's largest fish market
• Soak in the views while walking over Darling Harbour
• During the whole time, learn Aussie slang and make new friends

What's included

• 4 hours of fun and engaging language learning from native Australian speakers. You will learn 20 commonly used slang or colloquial phrases.
• Official lesson summary (emailed after) so you can keep practising at home.
• Photos shared with you after the event.
• Food (juicy sausage sandwiches, pastries) and drinks (juice, water, alcoholic beverages) will be provided throughout the event. Each shop we visit will provide us with food and/or drink (you only pay extra if you want to order more). Join us with an empty stomach.
