The first of our Develop Your Writing Career series. Gain the basic tools for planning and facilitating writing workshops from Beverley Ward
About this Event

If you want to make a career as a writer, the creative process is only part of the picture. These days, writers need to be able to multi-task as facilitators, editors, influencers and entrepreneurs. In our new Develop Your Writing Career series, we'll be giving you the tools to build your platform, profile and portfolio career.

Running workshops is a staple part of the work of the vast majority of writers but not all of us have a teaching qualification or experience of faciltating groups.

In this masterclass you'll learn how to plan and promote a workshop, how to manage group dynamics, how to give appropriate feedback and how to encourage group members to flourish. You'll leave the session with the confidence to run writing workshops in a variety of settings.
