About the Panelists:
Representative Kyle Brown serves as a member of the Joint Budget Committee and previously served as Chair of the Health & Human Services Committee. He represents House District 12, which includes Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Boulder, Gunbarrel, and Niwot.
Simon Julien is co-founder and CEO of Latimer Controls, a local startup born out of CU Engineering and the National Renewable Energy Lab that focuses on providing software to control and dispatch solar plants for electric utilities.
Samantha Bryan is a Demand Planner at Denver Water and works with the ever-evolving challenges of water demand. She uses data to better understand trends in water use, why trends change over time, and how those insights can be applied to planning.
Leslie Glustrom is a biochemist and co-founder of Clean Energy Action. She is also a member of several Colorado climate change and clean energy groups and has worked extensively at the Colorado Public Utility Commission and at the legislature to address the climate crisis and to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy.
