Class Outline:
  • History of runes
  • Explore the meanings & representation of runes
  • Learn the how to do readings using runes

We will take a brief look at the mythology, associations, and practical applications of the runes in modern life. We will cover where the runes came from, what the different futharks are, what the runes mean/represent, and how to read them. Learn what the Norns, Orlog, and Wyrd have to do with the runes and how they help you understand them. Lastly you will learn how to do several rune readings for yourself and others. This will give you the foundation to work with the runes to see possible outcomes and how to create positive changes for yourself.

About the intructor:

Jeff (Hooded Wanderer) has studied Germanic spiritual and ritual practices for thirty years along with traditional forms of meditation, herbal studies, and health practices. He started studying Germanic lore and the runes in 1991, while living in Germany. Over the last twenty years he has delved deeply into the Germanic lore and history including the runes, rune magic from the lore, and rune practices used for divination. With a combined forty-five years of study, practice, and teaching, Jeff and his wife Crow Spirit have worked together to develop the Modern American Shamanism program. The goal of which is to bring the Germanic ritual and spiritual practices into the 21st, century. The information in this book has evolved from Modern American Shamanism. Jeff (Hooded Wanderer) has also written four other books on the topic of Germanic lore and history
