Join us at Westside Market Greenville SC on January 25th from 2p - 4p for a fun and creative event where you'll learn the art of pressing flowers!
Some flowers are simple to press. Simply toss the into a book and come back in a couple weeks.
BUT - not all flowers press that simply. There is an art and a science to this beautiful process and I can teach you how!
With a bit of structure and process, you can consistently produce vibrant beautiful pressed flowers.
In this class I will teach you a couple different methods for several different flowers.
We will have a follow up class in a couple weeks where we learn to frame the flowers you press!
The Class Theme?
A Vintage Tea Party!!!
We will have vintage tea cups to sip from and lovely blends of tea and coffee to enjoy while we learn something new and create something beautiful.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned crafter, this hands-on workshop will teach you all the tips and tricks to pressing different kinds of botanicals.
You will leave with:
Flowers that have been processed into your presses/books
A Flower Pressing Guide to help you care for your flowers while they make their way through the preservation process.
There are 2 ticket types to choose from:
1. I'll bring my own supplies:
* For this ticket you will need to bring your own: flowers, flower press or hardback book + rubber bands, & flower press paper (Craft Paper works great!)
2. Provide Supplies for Me:
* With this ticket we will provide all the supplies you need including: flowers, craft paper, a large hardback book, & rubber bands
