Members £10
Non-members £15
The opening of our African Forest habitat is a momentous occasion for Bristol Zoological Society, one that has been literally years in the making.
One of the biggest moments on this journey was moving our troop of gorillas, a project that involved every single one of our teams in some capacity, and which was an undertaking rarely seen on this scale before for a UK zoo.
In this talk, Senior Keeper Sam Matthews gives his insights into the planning and execution of the operation. Join us to learn just what goes into moving a troop of gorillas across Bristol.
This talk will start at 2pm with plenty of time for questions at the end, with a finishing time of 3.30pm.
Suitable for ages 8+
