The Urban League of Greater Madison (ULGM) and Madison College are partnering to bring How to Manage Your Business to The Hub. This practical, two-session course is designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to better understand their finances, improve profitability, and build systems that support long-term business success.

This crash course will help you:

• Read and understand key financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Use financial information to make informed business decisions
• Develop pricing strategies that support profitability
• Manage cash flow throughout the year
• Create simple systems for managing clients, invoicing, and payments
• Track business performance and identify potential issues before they become major challenges

BONUS: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Madison College.

Whether you are launching a new venture or managing an established business, this course will provide practical tools and strategies you can immediately apply to strengthen your business operations and financial management.

Cost

• Tuition: $79 for the two-session course
• Scholarships may be available for participants with need.

Registration Process

• Registration through this Eventbrite page is the first step in the enrollment process and allows participants to indicate their interest in the course and any scholarship needs.
• Participants will also need to complete a Madison College enrollment form before they can be officially enrolled in the course.

Once this registration form is completed, Urban League staff will contact you regarding scholarship requests and next steps in the enrollment process.
