The Cheyenne Mountain Family Awareness Network (FAN) and The Mindfulness and Positivity Project (MPP) are excited to partner to support you and your family in building a deep love of life. Students and teachers will lead hands-on, evidence-based activities to help those of all ages not just survive, but flourish.

Parents, students, educators, and families interested in improving their well-being are encouraged to attend. There will be a gift card raffle for attending students! Presenting teachers and students include:

Larry Lawson & CMHS Mindfulness Club: Everyday Wisdom – Applying Stoicism to Build a Life You Love
Meg Fredrick & D12 Elementary Students: Amplifying Gratitude
The Cramms (BME Teacher & Daughter CMHS 12th Grader): Journaling Practices That Bring Us Closer Together
Jeff Kenefsky & CMHS Students:Taming the Wandering Mind – Mindfulness Meditation and Grounding Practices
The Family Awareness Network provides relevant information and training to engage and support our parent community in fostering the development of thriving and resilient youth while normalizing and accepting their journey.
The Mindfulness and Positivity Project empowers teachers and students to flourish through mindful, evidence-based practices that build communities of well-being. In 2025, The MPP introduced digital lessons to 83 classrooms in 12 schools across the Pikes Peak Region.
