I serve as the Technology Director for the Vero Beach Film Festival, and it is my great honor to bring this important story here to Florida.How to K*ll a Mermaid: The Linnea Mills Story is a heart-wrenching, true-crime feature documentary that examines the death of 18-year-old Linnea Mills during a 2020 cold-water scuba diving class in Montana's Glacier National Park. This intimate portrait of a beautiful life tragically cut short reveals never-before-seen footage as it reexamines the fatal dive and the investigation that followed. Grief collides with treachery as Linnea’s family relentlessly pursues truth, accountability and resilience following unimaginable loss.
Following this screening will be a Q&A with members of Linnea's family and other key people from the movie.
