HandsOn Maui, the County of Maui Volunteer Center, invites Maui County nonprofit leaders and volunteer managers to join a special in-person workshop on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel at Kahului Airport.This engaging training will be led by Alt Kagesa, a dynamic facilitator specializing in volunteer leadership and organizational development.
Alt Kagesa has over 30 years of experience providing training, facilitation, and leadership development throughout the State of Hawaii, California, and Alaska.
This interactive workshop will explore four proven pillars of successful leadership—tools that research shows consistently help leaders inspire others, whether they’re working with passionate volunteers or seasoned professionals.
Participants will leave with practical action plans on how to:
-Leverage the Power of Purpose to drive volunteer engagement.
-Inspire and motivate others in meaningful ways.
-Communicate with clarity, ensuring that every team member is on the same page.
-Build strong connections that protect teams from stress and challenges.
Space is limited to 25 attendees.
