About this Event

You don't have to be a grief expert to be a grief ally.

When someone we care about experiences a death, we often want to help but aren't sure what to say or do. In this interactive workshop, you'll learn practical strategies for supporting someone through the long-haul of grief—not just in the immediate aftermath of a death.

Drawing on the principles of grief allyship, we'll explore how to listen, remember, and how to keep showing up even when you feel like you've made a mistake.

You'll have opportunities to reflect on your own relationships, brainstorm creative ways to offer support using your unique skills and resources, and connect with others who want to become better grief allies. Whether you're supporting someone right now or simply want to feel more prepared for the next time grief touches your community, you'll leave with practical ideas you can put into action.
