How to Grow Mushrooms

3-in-1 class to learn techniques for growing mushrooms in your yard. In this hands-on class, you will be provided with the supplies and instruction to create your own mushroom growing basket for your yard for growing oyster mushrooms. Demonstrations of shiitake log inoculation will be shown on how to drill holes, place inoculated plugs, and sealing them with wax. Ways of planting wine caps and button mushrooms to harvest this season will also be discussed and demonstrated.
Guest instructor, Nikki Halverson, will share her knowledge of successes and growing tips.
