How to Design and Build Your First Irrigation System

Join us for a hands on workshop on designing your first irrigation system. This class will focus on two differnet strategies: sprinklers and drip irrigation using water from a garde spigot. In the workshop participants will design a small system and then assemble it in the class. Participants can take their systems home. Participants will learn:

• design basics
• design strategies
• how to assemble irrigation components
• problem solving irrigation systems
• dealing with water pressure (high and low)
• maintaining the system, fixing it when it breaks
• how to winterize the system
