About this Event
We’re excited to invite you to our next Amplifying Belonging in Berlin workshop, facilitated by Madeline Taylor, a facilitator who designs and leads capacity-building, transformation, and education processes for NGOs, grassroots organisations, and community initiatives to help strengthen movements for social justice.
Title: How to Design a Process: Introduction to Theory U and Connecting with Our Future Vision
About the Workshop
Learn how to design a project or change process using the Theory U model, a powerful framework for creating transformation by connecting with emerging future possibilities.
During this two-hour interactive session, you will:
- Explore the foundations of process design
- Learn how to map a project journey following the U process
- Discover common pitfalls and practical tips
- Apply the model hands-on: rapidly prototyping a project or business idea and receiving feedback from the trainers
Goal: For participants to learn a basic model of how to design a project/change process and apply it to their own context. This will roughly follow the Theory U model of the U process.
Format: First portion will be learning based, second portion will be hands-on.
1. Opening
2. Introduction to project design following the "U" Journey of Theory U
3. Common tips/things to avoid when designing a process
4. Hands on application- participants will have a chance to create a rapid prototype of the project design flow by applying it to their topic/business context and get feedback from the trainers
5. Closing
