How to Crochet Granny Squares!

Schedule

Sun Jun 09 2024 at 02:00 pm to 03:30 pm

Location

Halmich Park | Warren, MI

Experience the "great outdoors" at Halmich Park while spending a fun afternoon (2-3:30pm) learning how to crochet traditional granny squares!

Get ready to create the most versatile crochet accessory: the granny square! Granny squares can vary in size ranging from as small as a drink coaster to as large as a blanket! In this class we will learn how to make a 4-inch (approximately) granny square. I’ll provide a pattern that you can take home as well as a crochet hook for the duration of the class and you’ll provide 2-3 skeins of acrylic yarn (size 4) in your choice of colors. If you’d prefer to bring your own crochet hook (5mm) feel free.

Please note that an understanding of crochet is required for this class. You need to be familiar with how to single crochet (knowing how to double crochet will help but is not necessary!) Also your spot is only held after your ticket is purchased :)
