It’s time to register for this OUTSTANDING EVENT, the “How to Craft Your Personal Story the LIA* Way” workshop, November 13 - 15. LIA? What does Andy Offutt Irwin mean by this? It simply means that lying is acceptable! As Donald Davis says, “Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.”
Whether you tell ghost stories, tall tales, personal stories, or just great big lies, or whether you are a teacher, a salesperson, a preacher (we all know a few who could benefit from this!), someone who talks to people a lot, or someone who just likes to talk to people, this workshop is for you. You don’t have to have anything prepared - you’re bound to be inspired by Andy’s unique and fun teaching techniques.
Even if you've never attended a workshop before, this weekend is for you. You'll feel right at home, and I guarantee you'll have a great time!
The workshop runs Saturday and Sunday. We will begin on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. and will go until about 5:00 p.m., then on Sunday, we will go from about 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Saturday night, we will have a public performance in the arboretum at Wesleyan College. If you are interested in telling a story at this event on Saturday night, please let me know ASAP.
Registration is $180 per person and the workshop is limited to 16 participants. We will have dinner on Friday night for anyone who comes in early. This is always a fun and relaxing evening.
