Confit: Mastering Slow-Cooked FlavorConfit is a classic technique of slow-cooking foods in fat or oil to develop deep flavor and tender texture. Join this hands-on class to learn how to create rich, flavorful artichoke and cherry tomato confits that elevate any meal or appetizer.
Menu:• Artichoke Confit• Cherry Tomato Confit
Skills and Techniques:• Slow cooking in oil• Flavor infusion with herbs and aromatics• Temperature control• Preserving texture and color
Discover how gentle heat and quality oils transform simple ingredients into luxurious dishes. You’ll practice slow poaching artichokes to tender perfection and caramelizing cherry tomatoes to burst with sweetness, gaining techniques you can apply to a variety of vegetables and proteins. This class is perfect for cooks looking to deepen their understanding of classic culinary methods with flavorful, elegant results.
Cocktails, beer and wine are available for purchase at the bar.
Must be 21+ to drink alcohol.

Classes are approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours
Price is per person, and unfortunately, Sawyer is limited in its ability to register multiple adults for a single class. So, if you would like to register another adult for this class, you must sign them up as your child. Simply choose "ADD CHILD” and enter your guests name and a birthday. This will allow you to register another participant. Price is per person, so it will add the additional cost for the seat. Or you can have your guest(s) create an account and register themselves separately.
