ABOUT THIS EVENT
Our failure to realise the wisdom of how things really exist is the source of all our problems.
Buddha, who is enlightened, said: ‘the things we normally see do not exist in the way they appear’.
They do exist but not in the way they appear to exist.
As a consequence, we are mistaken about everything and then we wonder why it all goes pear-shaped!
On this half day meditation course, we will be introduced to the truth of emptiness, and we will try to get a sense of how things really exist.
Everyone welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion. These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
