Ego Death Presents: How Movement & The Dance Floor Can Heal Us - A Conversation and Free Yoga Flow w/ Your Plugstation aka Thamar Theodore & VIBRACIONES ✨
Join us for Ego Death's first community workshop as we sit down with our guest, Thamar Theodore, a RYT200 vinyasa yoga teacher, community facilitator, dance music lover, and owner of Your Plugstation -- alongside our Ego Death host, VIBRACIONES, a DJ/producer, Andean curandera, and Usui Reiki Master Teacher.
We will begin the evening with a FREE yoga and breath work flow focused on somatic healing, breath work, and affirmative reprogramming which will be accompanied by an ambient house DJ set. We will connect back to our inner embodiment, release stress, anxiety, and doubt, as well as help amplify and strengthen our energy. Afterwards, we will sit down for an interview and conversation focused on the connection between the dance floor, music, spirituality, healing, and connecting with your community.
Ego Death is a queer and trans centered media and music label and community workshop series. This event will be the beginning of a five part interactive workshop, demonstration, and interview series running until November which will be exploring the many facets of art, music, movement, and spiritual practice that can help us become more emotionally, creatively, and spiritually embodied and connected to our energy so you may learn how to be more empowered as an artist. This workshop series is meant for artists of all mediums, DJs, producers, performers, musicians, dancers, writers, photographers, videographers, movement artists, writers, and those wanting to explore how to access their inner flow state through experimental means. Come with an open mind and an open heart. Open to all however we amplify queer and trans artists!
