How I got Started in the World of Sports Portraits by Dani Mack

Dani Mack will walk you through how she went from being a mom with a camera to starting her own photography business that specializes in Sports Photography. This course will touch upon key factors to getting your business up and running, how Dani works with athletes, parents and leagues. Dani will show you what's in her bag and some of her tricks to getting the "shot".

Dani Mack turned her lifelong love for photography into a thriving career just two years ago. In October 2022, she picked up her first off-camera flash, which transformed her business. Since then, her schedule has been fully booked, and she now travels across the United States, conducting workshops and taking on photoshoots. Dani has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry's top sports photographers, such as Brad Deel from Brad Deel Sports and JC Carey from Westcott. She shoots with Sony cameras and exclusively uses Westcott lighting gear.

Dani has conducted workshops at stores like B&H in New York City, Unique Photo in New Jersey and Philadelphia, and soon, Precision Camera and Video in Austin, Texas. She shares her expertise on Westcott products and her unique approach to sports photography.
