Join Vancouver's beloved, multi-faith gospel choir for a high-energy choral celebration of the healing power of music! What do you do to "get over"? Universal Gospel Choir is home to singers from all different backgrounds, faith journeys, and walks of life, who share one belief in common: music can heal the world. This year's annual SOULstice concert explores the themes of love, perseverance, and how music can help us overcome great odds and recover from wounds. Universal Gospel Choir weaves together powerful messages of justice and inclusion, with beautiful music, to leave audience members feeling hopeful and inspired.
The 70-voice choir is led by accomplished composer, arranger and choral director, Lonnie Delisle, and accompanied by a stellar 5-piece band (including Grammy-nominated Jonny Tobin on the piano). Featuring special guest soloist, Warren Dean Flandez
