About this Event
Generative AI (GenAI) has taken the world by storm, and academia is no exception. Educators are rightfully concerned about various issues—from academic misconduct to biased outputs. Yet, these technologies also present tremendous opportunities to reimagine education for the better. In his keynote, Oguz Acar draws on the latest academic research and innovative pedagogical strategies, coupled with practical examples, to explore how GenAI can be thoughtfully used to reimagine learning, assessment, and teaching. He presents a vision of approaching GenAI not as a reactionary measure, but as a powerful tool to create more equitable, empowering, and engaging educational experiences.

Speaker
Professor Oguz A. Acar is a Professor of Marketing & Innovation at King's Business School, King's College London. He is also a Research Affiliate at Harvard University and an Expert at the World Economic Forum. In 2021, he was named a World's Top 40 Business School Professors Under 40.
