Do you sometimes find it hard to recognise or communicate how you feel?
Because feelings are often kept hidden, even from ourselves, it can become difficult to recognise or share them.
Join us for a creative workshop where intuitive art becomes a safe and expressive way to connect with your feelings, beyond words.
No art experience is needed - only a curious heart :-)
WHAT TO EXPECT
This workshop offers a gentle and reflective space to slow down, look inward, and reconnect with your emotional world.
Through intuitive art-making and guided reflection, you will explore a range of feelings in a safe, creative way. Art-making provides a powerful, non-verbal space to engage with emotions, using them as a rich source for images and a meaningful starting point for self-exploration. This process can help soften the intensity of feelings and bring gentle insight into what they evoke.
The creative process will be revealed on the day so your expression can remain spontaneous and authentic.
No art skills or experience are needed to benefit from this journey! It’s all about the process.
You will be welcomed in the cosy creative nook of art shop Artools. We will ease in with a short introduction and some tips, then move into a two-part intuitive art exploration (with a break), pause for some gentle journaling, and end with a supportive closing circle. You are always welcome to share as much or as little as feels right.
You can expect to leave with:
✨ Greater self-awareness and connection to your feelings
✨ One more step toward emotional resilience

THE POWER OF ART EXPLORATIONS
When we say “art”, we mean free-form, intuitive expression - nothing to do with talent, skill or being an artist.
Art-making is a gentle way to connect with yourself, reaching parts of you that are not always easy to put into words. By playing with colours, materials and shapes - and simply observing what you create -, you can begin to look for personal meaning. Your creative choices and reactions can reveal emotions, needs or insights that usually stay unnoticed.
Making art can support emotional release, reduce stress, and deepen your self-awareness, confidence and inner calm.
No experience needed - it's all about the process, not the result.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This workshop is for anyone longing to (re)connect with their deeper self.
Perhaps you feel out of touch with your inner world and want a gentle way to sense and express your feelings.

Or you’re just curious to try something new in a safe and nurturing environment.
No art skills are needed - only openness and curiosity.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Valerie is passionate about creating gentle spaces where others can slow down, listen inward and give expression to what lies inside, through both movement and creativity. With a background in yoga and expressive arts, she guides intuitive processes that invite curiosity, presence, and self-trust.
She has always been drawn to the connection between body, mind, and spirit - from practicing karate and dance in her early years in Belgium, to discovering yoga in her teens and returning to it later as a source of softness, grounding, and truth.
She believes that creativity belongs to everyone. Just like movement, it can help bring the unconscious conscious and reconnect us with our natural wisdom. Through her work, she hopes to guide you toward a deeper connection with yourself - so you can move through life with more ease, authenticity, and joy.
