How do you feel when walking along the street alone at night?

This site- orientated work aims to make the familiar spaces of Stellenbosch unfamiliar. In so doing, and inspired by feminist and queer identities, it aims to shed light on the inequality and violent acts that these groups of people face in the current day and age. Each performance space will illuminate the lived experiences of those who have not had access to ‘mainstream’ spaces and conversations, while shedding light on the othered identities that can be found in South Africa.

The show attempts to show fragments of society coming together to form a community and to reflect the light towards the audience in a celebration of these identities.
