A Bollywood-style dance theatre production inspired by astrology and its planetary influences, weaving a tale of love. The production includes lavish costumes from Mumbai, the city of Bollywood, with mesmerizing lighting and visuals, a cast of fifty dynamic, multi-generational performers, and creative, innovative choreography to foot-tapping melodies.Act One – The Universe
A celebration of human existence, introducing the different characters in the story:
The Sun – the male energy, and the Moon – the female energy.
Act Two – The Soul Connection
The soul connection between two people and the unfolding of their romantic journey in the landscape of life.
Act Three – The Lessons, Trials, and Tribulations
The conflict between the planetary configurations of the two souls is reflected in the trials of momentary separation.
Act Four – Divine Union
Overcoming all obstacles to reunite in love.
Formed in 2016 Moksh Community Arts aims to make dance an integral part of life for all individuals within the context of a community inclusive of all social and cultural backgrounds.
They believe in the transformative power of dance to integrate the body and mind for total wellness. Through dance they intend to create a holistic experience in every participant and thereby impact the larger community.
