Houston Methodist & Ion Digital Innovation Reverse Pitch Info Session

Welcoming innovators, engineers, students, start-ups, developers, experts, and community members alike to take part in Houston Methodist and Ion's first reverse pitch event. During this session, attendees will hear from Houston Methodist leaders about the problem statement, goals & objectives, program guidelines and timeframe to develop a unique digital solution to help advance the healthcare industry into the future.

Details:

• Interested attendees will be asked to submit a prosposed abstract for the intended solution by October 18th.
• Houston Methodist and a select group of judges will review all submitted abstracts and choose a selection to advance to the final pitch presentation.
• Finalists will be provided with temporary work space at the Ion, exclusive mentorship sessions with Houston Methodist leaders, and access to specialized community experts to help prepare for the final pitch.
• In early December, final presentations will be shared and the top contenders will go in front of Houston Methodist's Center for Innovation leadership team for a chance to pilot their solution in one of the leading hospitals in the USA.

No prior healthcare experience necessary. The final product will be focused on creating a digital solution targeted at improving processes used to test individuals for tuberculosis (TB).
