About this Event

We are thrilled to announce our very first Family Day event at the new museum—“Boo
on the Bayou: celebrating The Port In Your Backyard”—taking place Sunday,
October 26th from 1–4 PM. This exciting day will bring together families from across
Houston for a fun and educational experience featuring:

👻 Kids’ Costume Contest (Prize for the best nautical look! Think mermaids, pirates, sailors, Nemo - get creative!)
🎶 Live DJ
🎨 Face Painting and Balloon Artist
🚒 Firetruck and Boats to explore
😋 Kona Ice Truck
