A brand-new Deaf Awareness Week event! 🎉
This interactive “speed meeting” activity gives students a safe and structured way to meet Deaf community members. In just a few minutes at each table, they’ll practice signing, exchange ideas, and build confidence—then rotate to meet someone new! 💬✨
Come support our students as they:
🤝 Connect with Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults
👐 Practice real-time ASL conversations
🌍 Strengthen ties with the community
🙌 To make this event successful, we especially need Deaf and Hard of Hearing signers and sign language interpreters to join us. Your participation will make a huge difference in giving students authentic practice and meaningful connections.
