Housing Opportunities for Women (HOW) Associate Board Summer Social

Join Housing Opportunities for Women (HOW)’s Associate Board for an evening of networking, drinks, and community in support of a mission that has never been more important.

For more than 40 years, HOW has helped individuals and families across Chicagoland move from housing instability to long-term stability through housing, healthcare support, employment services, and wraparound care. In 2025 alone, HOW served 1,482 clients and provided more than 25,000 support services to people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Now, critical federal funding cuts threaten programs that thousands of Chicagoans rely on every year. At a time when the need for affordable housing and support services continues to rise, community support is more essential than ever.

During the event, HOW staff and Associate Board members will share more about the organization’s work, the growing challenges facing nonprofits serving vulnerable communities, and how monthly donors can help sustain these life-changing services into the future.
