Housing and Community Development Roundtable
About this Event
This conversation will bring together leaders in housing development, community leaders, planning, and community development to explore opportunities emerging along the corridor connecting Herring Run Park, Druid Hill Park, and Gwynns Falls Leakin Park.
As Baltimore experiences renewed investment in parks, infrastructure, and neighborhoods, this is an important moment to ask:
How can development repair past harms and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive, and thriving community?
During the session we will:
- Share a visual story map highlighting the park corridor and emerging opportunities
- Discuss challenges and possibilities related to equitable housing development and community advocacy
- Collaborate on ideas for how organizations across the city can work together to ensure these investments benefit long-standing communities
This is intended to be a working conversation with community members and a small group of practitioners whose perspectives can help shape future strategies.
