Housing Allocation Scheme Consultation

Join BSWN and Bristol City Council on the 14th of September from 12:00-13:30pm at Wellspring Settlement for a consultation on the Council’s Housing Allocation Scheme.

Bristol City Council are reviewing the way they let council and social housing to ensure people have homes that meet their needs, give priority to those who need it most, and make the application process easier.

About this event

The review gives the opportunity to look at who is housed, and why, and develop options for how to let social housing in the future.

• Should the Council move to a system where they take more direct action to help someone find a home?
• Should the Council make changes to priority groups, including giving top priority to care leavers and under-occupiers?
• Should the Council extend the use of lettings policies that give priority to local people, and where should we introduce them?

We will have a representative from Bristol City Council at the event to answer any questions during the consultation.
