OB1KEONI aka Keoni Pokipala has an undeniable sense of rhythm that gets clubs and booties shakin! Both a crowd pleaser and a DJs DJ, his well crafted sets have blown up dance floors on Vancouver island too many times to count. OB1Keoni always lays down the house rhythms thick; making the whole club vibrate with drummy rhythms, filthy bass and flavourful funk. Lets go!
Christoph Maitland
Christoph Maitland is an award winning DJ, music producer and promoter out of Victoria, Canada for the last 25 years. Not one to limit himself by genre, his productions explore House, Deep House, Melodic House & Techno, Synthwave, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Nu Disco and Electronic. As a producer he has heard his work played on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Nightingale, be featured as the main demo song for FL Studio 9, and charted in the Beatport top 100 of multiple genres. His debut album “There's A Light” was released in Spring 2024 and features remixes from 15 Western Canadian producers. He has been remixed by artists such as Toronto Is Broken, Myagi, Jon Delerious, Rennie Foster, Robosapiens, Duane Barry, Joel West, JGarrett, DJ Soo, Michael Beggs, Dark Arps and many more. As a DJ he first gained popularity in the early 2000s through his ability to move dance floors with an arsenal of seamless mixing and DJ tricks. After winning a DJ competition he went on to become club resident at Hush, a Canadian underground institution from 2002 - 2014 where he shared stages with the biggest names in electronic music like Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco, DJ Dan, Hatiras, Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, Dylan Rhymes and Meat Katie to name a few. He now holds residency at his own night Houseworx, at Lucky Bar, Victoria.
DJ Soo - East Van Digital - Vancouver - House Set
Vancouver-based DJ SOO is DJ, producer, remixer, live PA artist, and party-rocker. SOO has long been considered a staple of the Canadian music and DJ scene and has been a veteran of the Canadian West Coast scene for over two decades. Either working solo or with longtime collaborator DJ Wood in either their Wood n Soo or Rusty Cravers monikers, he has seen countless releases and has played in clubs and festivals around North America and the world. After taking a brief hiatus from music when the world shut down, SOO bounced back strong with a string of releases and delved into his newest
passion: live performance. Blending his already considerable turntable skills with live samplers, synths, and drum machines, SOO continues his musical journey in creating original music in realtime. With a versatile style that is impossible to nail down, DJ SOO keeps the surprises coming - flowing between diverse genres and influences with a dose of turntablism to tie it all together. From hip-hop to house, reggae to drum n bass, and trap to soul, SOO keeps a constantly evolving palette
of music that never fails to keep heads nodding and bodies moving.
Löblová
Löblová is known for offering a musical journey, drawing you into the dance. She spends countless hours digging for new sounds, while intending to offer something a little different while nourishing the soul. She is inspired by many genres, from downtempo, afro/deep/organic/melodic house techno and trance, deep & dub techno, and a current healthy obsession for breakbeat and drum & bass. She is always excited to share music with you and tailors each sound journey to the specific theme and energy of the event. After dancing in community for over two decades, she just can't pick her favorite genre to play out - for now, she'll play what feels good and hopefully you'll feel good too.
