Mel & Monty Plant Co. introduce Mel’s Houseplant Root Camp - Intro to Plantkeeping and introductory class designed for anyone interested in bringing a touch of nature into their home. Whether you are a beginner or looking to hone your green thumb, this class will guide you through the basics of houseplant care. Throughout the class you will learn how to:
? access and identify different microclimates of your home and how they play a role in your plants heath
?lighting needs and how to measure light
?proper soil selection for your plant type & watering techniques
?pest management & prevention measures
?fertilization & feeding
The class will last approx. 90 minutes with time for Q&As.
Attendees will each receive a workbook that after class will serve as a reference guide to all of your biggest plantkeeping questions.
