Houseplant Care- Spa and Hospital Event

Welcome plant parents of all experience levels! Join us for our Houseplant Care- Spa and Hospital Event at the cozy Griot Goods Studio. Learn how to rejuvenate your leafy friends with treatments and get skilled help to nurse them back to health in our plant hospital. From repotting tips to pest control remedies, we've got you covered!

Bring your plant babies and have Curly, the owner of Griot Goods, repot your plants, clean your leaves with a pest deterrent leaf shine spray, diagnose, provide and implement treatment options for any plant issues your plant(s) are experiencing.

Ticket price includes repotting one (1) plant with soil that fits the plant's needs up to a 6-inch planter and a leaf cleaning with leaf shine spray. Includes simple nursery pot to repot into but you can provide your own alternative!

Additional Services offered will be provided in a package and a la carte style for one plant to up to 15. Planters of various sizes, materials and appearances will be for sale if you don't want to bring your own pot for repotting.

All types of plants are welcome at the spa/clinic from succulents to cacti to tropical houseplants*.

Objectives of the event:

• Provide services such as repotting and plant pampering
• Diagnose and treat plants experiencing health or pest issues**
• Educate the people who attend to increase their confidence with plant tending
• Provide introductory amounts of pest treatments, pest preventatives, leaf shine spray

The event will work in the flow of once you arrive, you'll fill out a form explaining what you're interested in having done, and any issues you've been experiencing with your plant(s).
Information and resources on pests and plant care basics will be available for free at the front of the space.

A MAJOR goal of this event is to teach you how to be more confident with your plant care and learning how to diagnose what's happening with your plants so you can catch issues as they arise early in the future.

*We reserve the right to decline to treat any plant for any reason.

**The success of the sole Griot Goods event treatment can't be guaranteed to fully eradicate an infestation of a pest including but not limited to mealy bugs or thrips due to pest treatments often requiring repeated application. We will provide information on how to further treat your plant once it returns home.
